Do all suggestions get purchased?
No, suggesting an item does not mean it will be purchased.

Who may suggest titles for purchase?
Anyone who is a patron of the Copper Valley Community Library and is in good standing.

What items can be purchased?

• Books/ Audio Books published within the last two years.
• Older materials will be decided on by a committee of three from the library board and one non board member who will be selected at random from the volunteer librarians.
• Older books can always be requested through Interlibrary Loan.

What items cannot be purchased?

• Items we already own.
• Books published more than two years ago.
• Out of print or used items.

How will I know the book has arrived and is available for check out?
If we purchase your requested item, we will place a hold on it for you and give you a call.

I am looking for a specialized or out-of-print title. How can I request a copy of it?
Our Interlibrary Loan program allows us to borrow a title from another library.
